Nineteen of the Russian's 21 titles have been won on hard courts
A revitalized Medvedev secured his first trophy for 882 days with a win over Corentin Moutet in the tournament title decider.
The athlete, a former number one, has had a difficult year, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serving in particular - caused him falling of the world's top 10 and ultimately separating with long-term trainer Cervara.
Currently working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, he has steadily advanced in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought competitive victory over challenger Moutet.
This represents the player's maiden trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court since spring of the previous year.
Victory also signifies the Russian has secured twenty-one victories at twenty-one distinct competitions.
"For the first time I have attended a event with my both daughters at once, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," said ranked player the champion.
"This victory is in dedication of my younger daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I won when my child my daughter was born was for her."
The athlete, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six championship matches, including in that event earlier this year.
The player's retrieving play style and regular reactions on the playing surface had led some to doubt if his capacity to perform at the elite level was finished.
However the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the past month, attempting to come to the net and perform aggressively, backed up by an enhanced service.
He fought back from a break down in the first set against the challenging Frenchman, winning four of the concluding five points to go ahead.
Both players traded breaks in the middle set before Moutet, bidding for his initial professional victory, seized the initiative to push for a decider.
The opponent defended 4 initial break points in a close third set before Medvedev secured a break to that score to secure the win.
Fittingly, he clinched the title with a rally at the net, with his opponent unable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
